TGFC CLUB AWARDS
At the BVFL AGM are awarded for the second year in a row the Harold Wisdom Fair Play Cup also retaining Division One status for the 4th season, and club secretary Peter Diffey is awarded BVFL Club Secretary of the Season 08-09.
TGFC agree a new shirt sponsorship deal with Buckland Newton Hire a specialist ground works, plant and skip hire, waste disposal, and Haulage Company. As well as extending our current sponsorship deals with A Touch of Glass, Sevenoaks Sound & Vision and the Mermaid.
TGFC are awarded their second Umbro voucher by the DCFA Charter Standard Working Party. And Ruari Senior and Alan Kell attend the McDonalds Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football at Hamworthy on behalf of the club in June.
For season 2009-2010 TGFC are launching a Ladies team, and developing the GLC & PAMFA soccer schools to include a TG Development Squad for boys and girls aged 14-16 year olds starting in September, as TGFC start the new season we have three teams, a men’s, the U18’s and a ladies team!
